I doubt that one could find significant differences between the two other than price although I have not tried either one. I have however used Nikon Premiere 8x42 for several years, an outstanding pair.

The image will be at infinity because this is the most comfortable viewing distance for your eyes. However, it will appear bigger by the magnification factor of 10

I don’t like the fit and finish of the Monarchs. Don’t get me wrong, I like Nikon binos, but it’ll be the ProStar for me. When it comes to roof prism, I chose Pentax DCF-SP, because of the fit and finish that suited my taste and feel in my hands.
That’s not true. I got a pair for Christmas, dropped then about two months ago and had to send them for repair (broke one of the extending eye cups) I followed the service directions online, told them exactly what happened. They repaired them and shipped them back. No cost. That’s why it’s called a NO-FAULT 25 year warrenty.

nice vid i acttully used that method with leaving two finger’s on top it worked out nice. thanks for the tip.
