Is the Nikon Monarch ATB 10×42 Binoculars better than the MINOX BL 10×42 BR?
Reply:
I doubt that one could find significant differences between the two other than price although I have not tried either one. I have however used Nikon Premiere 8×42 for several years, an outstanding pair.

Tristan asked:
Specially a person. I would be about 300 ft from person. I would also be high in a tree. I would like the binoculars to show a clear picture even though there may be open blinds, or transparent curtains in the way of the person. Also this may be at night. There will be light around the person I am watching. It is important that I see very small details with the binoculars?
Reply:
Wow you seem to be very specific about what you require, as with any technology you get what you pay for and what you are asking for is quite a lot in my opinion.

I am wondering, if anyone has ever tried to use a telescope/binocular optics to enhance the range on their digital camera, and if so, was it successful? Camera I have has a view screen with SLR. and 10x viewer.

Emily asked:
What are those mini binocular-like things called that you hold with the metal rod?? Eclair Tonnerre from the anime series Ouran High School Host Club always has them, and I don’t know what they’re called…?
Reply:
They’re just called Opera Binoculars.

No, it’s not a monocle. You hold those with your eye and there is only one lens.
