I have a rubber armored Bushnell Spacemaster 15-45x60 that works great but I don't carry it while hunting. Most hunters try and keep the weight of their equipment that they have to carry around to a minimum and opt for a good pair of binoculars to actually have on them while in the field.
I mainly use my spotting scope while at the range, or If I'm hunting, I use it from my truck to look at potential hunting areas before hiking over to it.

Get the best you can afford – I've had good luck with BSA scopes and they re priced very reasonable – if you can afford it get a Burris or Leupold.
