If you don't have to worry about weight get as big as you can afford. a pair of 20x50's would help you see the teeth on a duck bill

i want to buy a consumer binocular and their magnification power all varies between 6 to 12. IE: 10x50
1. Is this the same as say a 10x optical zoom digital camera?
2. does a binocular 10x50 means the zoom drugs online without prescription is fixed at 10x? while a camera, the zoom is flexible, from 1x to 10x, im I right?
3.so basically if i have a 10x zoom camera, i dont really need a binocular... im not going to hunting just for scene sighting.. thanks

So if the first number in binocular magnification = the optical zoom (the high the further you get out there), and the 2nd number = the objective lens (the larger the number the better site will be in low light situations - with that considered, it seems like 9x63 or 8x56 would be the most ideal binocular magnification for deer hunting. . . so why is 10x42 and 8x42 the most common and most popular magnifications? I am not really asking about the optical, but more so the objective. . . it seems like hunters would ideally want higher than 42, yet most x63 or x50 binoculars are more suited/marketed for star gazing as opposed to hunting. . . why is this?
