Anybody who has used binoculars for sky watching ..?
Jiji asked:
Can you tell what interesting things can I see with a 10x50 pair of binoculars?
What are the points in favour of the above binocular against using beginner scopes.
Thanks for your time
@ what difference will it create with a 8X35 instrument.
(if in future I wish to use it for birding also)

Be sure your eyes are dark adapted for at least 20 minutes before you go exploring. Work along the band of the milky way from Sagittarius northward. First of all you will see millions of stars in our edge on galaxy. buy prescription drugs on line Next, you will see globular clusters, open clusters, brighter nebula and an occasional galaxy on the outskirts of ours. The Andromeda galaxy is a grand sight worth the looking and really is available only to binocular users in a single gulp.
7x 50 are a little more desirable because 10 x and above really requires a tripod. 10 power will bump along because your heart beat will be visible in the image as your arms move with each surge of blood. The 7x also have a bigger exit pupil that more readily matches the human dark adapted eye. This makes for a slightly brighter and more "contrasty" image.
You are wise to use binocs before shopping for an expensive telescope. Take your time and enjoy the view.
