   You will find some tabs on top of the screen with labels, go to the one marked “optics”. It will give you a selection of other choices, click on binoculars. That will give you a choice of powers (10x, 8x, etc). Select one of those and you will get a nice list of quality binoculars.
   For what you want to do, you don’t need anything more than 10 power. If you plan on carrying these on your person a lot, then look for a light weight device.
   You will see terms like, 10×50 or 8×42, etc. The first number is the magnification factor, so 10x is ten power. The second number is the diameter of the lens in millimeters. A 50mm lens is as large as you need to go. The larger the lens the more light it gathers, but beyond 50mm is really the point of no returns for lens.
   A 10×50 binocular is on the heavy side if you plan on carrying the thing around your neck a lot. There are some light weight ones made, just search the midway site and you will find them.
   Stay away from fancy stuff like auto focus and power zoom. They are just gimmicks you really don’t need.
   Some of the glass you can look at are: Barska, Tasco, Bushnell, Simmons, etc. Prices will range from about $25 to $100 for a basic pair of binoculars. If you have a lot of money to spend and want outstanding quality, check out the Zeiss glass, they are in the $500 class.

   about a 10 power but it will read 10×25 the 25 gives the width the smaller the number the narrow the veiw. Go to http://www.harborfrieght or http://www.notherntool. I got a offbrand one and they work great and have a built in digetal camera built in. For about 40 bucks, Mine is a vivetar but can’t remember where I ordered it from.
